The 28th Pesaro–Rovinj–Pesaro regatta will be held this year as a continuation of the centuries-long tradition of adventure seeking and sailing on the courses sailed by traditional two-masted coasters known as Trabakuls. Eighty crews from Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia have entered the race.

Zbog dugotrajnog ljetnog pljuska, koji se nešto poslije 22 sata obrušio nad Rovinjem, izostao je najavljen koncert Paula Younga. Na žalost, kiša, popraćena vjetrom nije dozvolila poznatoj engleskoj i svjetskoj estradnoj zvijezdi da se predstavi svojim, danas već prepoznatljivim i bezvremenskim skladbama. No, baš kada se činilo da će koncert ostat zabilježen kao neostvarena želja organizatora i pjevačevih fanova, koji su ga došli slušati iz susjednih država i gradova, Paul Young autor mega hitova poput onog najizvođenijeg „Every Time You Go Away“ , pokazao je svu veličinu engleskog gentlimena obećavši publici da će se s njome ponovno naći sutra i na istom mjestu.

welcome to the 5th edition of the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival! Continuing a highly successful run of previous four years, "Los Mamberos" team together with "Salsa Adria Productions" present an another edition of the UNIQUE summer salsa festival in a beautiful coastal town of Rovinj, Croatia.

After 25 years (since 1986) Rovinj again reached a record-breaking 3 million overnight stays and, for the second consecutive year, regained leadership position in Croatia.
Compared to the same period last year and 347,716 more stays this is a 13 percent increase. Rovinj recorded a total of 434,167 arrivals, i.e. 56,096 or 16 percent more compared to 2010

RC44 Cup je svjetska turneja koja se sastoji od šest regata na šest različitih lokacija diljem svijeta. U Rovinj stižu 28.9.-2.10.2011 najbolji jedriličari svijeta među kojima su i osvajači zlatnih olimpijskih medalja i pobjednici Americas Cupa poput Russell Couttsa, Paul Cayarda, Cameron Appletona, Ray Davisa, Larry Ellisona i drugih.

 Četvrti Weekend Media Festival ove se godine održava od 22. do 25. rujna, na već tradicionalnoj lokaciji stare tvornice duhana u Rovinju. Tri festivalske dvorane ove godine donose nikad bogatiju satnicu s velikim brojem stranih i domaćih predavača, panel diskusija i radionica. Tomo Ricov, direktor festivala, naglašava: „Prošle smo godine okupili više od 3 000 sudionika, očekivanja za ovu godinu su također velika. Trenutne najave o zainteresiranosti sudionika za dolazak govore da ćemo letvicu dignuti još više. Razlog tome je i što se Weekend profilirao ne samo kao središnji skup komunikacijske industrije, nego i kao središnje mjesto za godišnje sklapanje poslova.“ Praksa dovođenja najvećih svjetskih stručnjaka s područja komunikacijske industrije na rovinjsku pozornicu nastavlja se i ove godine. Pa tako u Hrvatsku dolaze James Whatley, marketing direktor i bloger koji radi za 100heads – kompaniju iz Londona specijaliziranu za „word of mouth“ advertising i korištenje društvenih mreža te Jay McGill, viši potpredsjednik pri Hearst Magazines International koji se posljednjih pet godina brine za izdavaštvo i digitalne operacije u Europi, Bliskom istoku i Africi.

 Despite the fact the Rovinj Night has been, for almost four full decades now, a night not to be missed – the night written in gold into the calendar of summer events – the last one proved, by its selection of guests and the programme concept, to be beyond itself. Along with traditional fireworks, most attractive in the Adriatic, the greatest reason behind the crowd’s interest was the very first Istrian performance by the two mega popular cellists Stjepan Hauser and Luka Šuli?, better known as the “2CELLOS”. With their engagement, the employees of the Tourist Board raised the level and quality of summer events high, setting new standards in the organisation of the Town’s most beautiful night, partly showing as well that Rovinj always strives for better and more.
